Resort activities

Activities

Hikes, sunset hand-line fishing, village days, meke, kava, and hammock hours. No forced fun.

Laze by the pools, nap in a hammock, or float the cove — then pick adventure when you want it. Guided hikes a few times a week (including a Waya peak), sunset hand-line fishing, half- and full-day sport-fishing charters, island-hopping village visits, Friday meke, and a kava welcome for new arrivals. Yoga on the pool deck or the gym’s ocean-view deck; sunset cross-training course on request. Activity charges are in FJD on your room account. No jet-skis, no organised-to-exhaustion schedule.

Snorkelling with manta rays

Snorkel with manta rays

May–October trips to the channel ten minutes away — planktivore giants on the wing.

Manta season typically runs May through October. Regular snorkel trips leave Paradise for the nearby channel, a feeding ground where giant mantas work zooplankton on powerful pectoral fins. Manta rays are fascinating and captivating creatures. Giants of their kind, they range throughout the tropical and sub-tropical oceans of the world. Born into a life of perpetual motion, they must keep swimming to survive. Driven forward by powerful beats of their wing-like pectoral fins they search the ocean currents for concentrated patches of the tiny planktonic food upon which they feed. Despite their status as an ocean giant, manta rays feed on some of the smallest organisms in the sea!

Caves at Sawa-i-Lau

Caves at Sawa-i-Lau

Tuesday and Thursday cave trips, June–October. FJ$199 including boat and entrance.

A day trip to the limestone caves at Sawa-i-Lau and Blue Lagoon. Boats leave twice a week June through October (Tuesday and Thursday), departing 8:30 am and returning by 1 pm for lunch. The swim-through is the rare mix of adventure and just enough trepidation. Cost: FJ$199 per person, including cave entrance and the round-trip boat.

Champagne Beach Club

Champagne Beach Club

Day cabanas and covered nests on the main beach — towels, Wi-Fi, snorkel kit, kayaks and SUPs.

A day club on the main beach: private cabanas and large covered daybeds with complimentary towels, changing rooms, Starlink Wi-Fi, still or sparkling water, snorkel gear, kayaks and SUPs, plus access to daily activities. All-tide white-sand swimming and the house reef. Lunch at Black Rock or Donu. Daily boat from Naisoso. Cabanas from FJ$49 a day for groups up to eight. PADI shop and Nauka Spa on site.

The 48ft Catamaran

Yacht charter day trips

Leopard 48 catamaran, four ensuite cabins, crew of three. Moored between the three Yasawa sisters.

Sail the Yasawas on our 48ft Catamaran: four air-conditioned ensuite cabins for up to eight guests, three lounge areas, and a crew of three. The catamaran glides between Octopus, Paradise Cove, and Blue Lagoon — typically two nights at each. Cabin rate includes daily breakfast, soft drinks, hosted sunset drinks, snorkel kit, paddleboard and kayak, resort-facility access when moored, and daily housekeeping. Families can book two cabins on one hull (children 5+). Transfers are from whichever resort the yacht is on that day. Full bar and Paradise Cove room service to the yacht. Book the cabin or the whole boat.

Village and cultural days

Village and cultural days

Waya and Naviti visits, rugby at Yalobi in winter, kava welcome, staff meke.

Day boats visit villages on Waya or Naviti, with a chance to swim with mantas in season. Winter rugby at Yalobi is a social occasion across the Yasawas. New guests are welcomed with kava seven nights a week. Friday meke is the team’s thank-you — song, dance, and celebration. Cooking lessons, craft demonstrations, and island hopping sit on the weekly board.
